FOR 25 YEARS the Lesher Center for the Arts has been a place where imaginations take flight and inspirations soar. The On Broadway Gala on Saturday, October 3 is not to be missed as we mark the 25th Anniversary of the Lesher Center and its significant contributions to our community through high-caliber entertainment, award-winning theatre and musicals, the renowned Newsmakers Lesher Speaker Series, world-class ballet and dance performances, engaging visual arts exhibitions, the tremendously popular Chevron Family Theatre Festival, the recently added Jazz series, and acclaimed educational programming.
A GREAT CAUSE | When you sponsor a table, donate an auction item, or attend our elegant celebration, quite simply you are helping to create enthralling and vibrant arts programs that enrich the lives of hundreds of thousands in our community. You also are continuing to give the gift of the arts to families, seniors, educators, students and low-income individuals who attend high-quality performances through DRAA’s Arts Access Program, the only one of its kind in the area. More than 36,000 students have attended performances because of your support.
BRAVO | The Center is where the spark of creativity ignites. Since relocating On Broadway to the Center four years ago, you and other loyal patrons and supporters have helped raise more than $1.1 million in support of the arts. As we reflect on the last 25 years and envision the future, your support will help DRAA achieve our goal of increasing our outreach to 10,000 low-income students next year; attract an even-wider range of high-quality programming; and continue to be front and center as the East Bay’s premier destination for culture, arts, and education. The arts are about teamwork, and we can’t do it without you.
THE GALA | This elegant evening includes a performance from a talented headliner, a gourmet dinner served in a dramatic tent, wonderful live and silent auctions, and dancing to live music at the popular Encore party. It’s the one night art lovers from all over the East Bay gather for this great cause. Don’t miss the festivities when Center turns 25 at midnight!
